Pet Steam Brush

Easy to use. The temperature of the water you fill chamber with meets the dogs need. My dog just sits and lets me brush and steam him. He always smells clean and the process is easy. Pleased with this steam brush and I have a shed less dog.

I bought this not sure if my dog would take to it. As you can see, he loves it every time. The hair doesn’t fly everywhere and it cleans his coat as I brush. Win win.

I was so excited to get this cat brush! All of my cats have a fear of bathing (other than their own grooming!), and one in particular will think you are going to be the death of him if you come near him with a drop of water. This same cat has skin allergies and no matter how much I brush, I can't control the dander in his thick hair. This brush was the perfect solution. I can brush him (which he loves) and bathe him at the same time without him realizing what's going on! I'm taking it slow so he'll get used to the fact that he's getting wet, but so far he's loving it. Charges quickly; not a huge reservoir, but holds enough for a good brushing; you can see the mist as it sprays; and it sounds like a clothes steamer (low noise). I thought the wire bristles would irritate him because it does sound a bit abrasive when you brush, but I didn't keep brushing the same spot many times, and saw no redness or irritation when finished. Price is more than I've ever spent on a cat brush, but definitely worth it!

Very useful pet brush. I'd say it's probably only best used on cats or dog with fine hair. I wouldn't recommend this on dogs like Akitas, Chows, or Huskies since the bristles aren't long enough and they'd probably snag in thicker hair. The bristles have small plastic guards on the bottom of them so you won't scrape your pet's skin while brushing. The fur release feature is VERY useful, as my cat's hair likes to fly around everywhere when brushing (lots of static), but the fur release just collects a nice little wad of his hair that I can eject directly into the trash. The misting feature is also convenient and helpful for that reason. It doesn't completely soak your pet, but applies enough moisture so that the hair isn't flying around while brushing. The misting feature was a bit off-and-on when I used it, but I don't think I filled it up all the way so maybe that's why it was sputtering a bit. My cat was very slightly damp when I was finished with him. He didn't notice the water / mist. The only concern is that I'm worried about molding, since there doesn't seem to be a very good way to drain out all the excess water.
